The Masport 6.5XL Petrol Chipper-Shredder has twin hoppers; a cone-shaped one for bushy branches up to 6.5cm in diameter; and a wide-aperture one for softer debris like leaves and grass-cuttings.
Branches are fed through a hardened-steel flywheel-mounted chipper knife that will turn them into woodchips that are ideal for flowerbed protection; while the shredder mechanism comprises nine metal flail-hammers, which will finely mulch organic debris, leaving you with a material the perfect consistency for fast decomposition.
Built to last, the Masport 6.5XL features a rotationally-moulded UV-resistant poly hopper and 5mm-thick steel side-plates, ensuring the unit will cope with years of heavy-duty use.
