With a wide and very time saving cutting width of 51 centimetres, the Efco LR53-TK Allroad Plus 4 Self-Propelled Steel Deck Lawn Mower is a flexible and hard working machine ready to take on medium and large lawns with ease, its four-in-one cutting versatility enabling you to take on rougher, uneven growth as well as smooth and even lawns.

A powerful EMAK K 800, 196cc engine drives this efficient all round lawn mower, giving it all the power it needs to self-drive, at 3.6 kph, and to power the blade for a clean and accurate cut. The engine has an overhead valve that delivers more power fuel, economy and a cleaner, quieter, and more durable all round performance.

Four-in-one cutting means you can mow in varying conditions, cutting rougher, longer, thicker or uneven grass with the side and rear discharge systems.

Then there is the option to cut and collect into the large capacity grass collector that takes 70 litres. The rotary action of the spinning blade produces a good current of air to lift and carry the cuttings directly into the collector, which also assists collection with its fabric construction, where air flows through and reduces clumping or grass blockages.

The collector has a built in ‘grass-bag-full’ indicator, to save you from constantly having to check levels or overfilling the bag and dropping cuttings on the newly mown lawn.

Finally you can cut and mulch, blocking the collection channel with a mulch plug, so grass is cut and cut again to a very small size and then deposited in to the lawn where they breakdown and create natural fertilising agent which encourages a healthier looking, greener lawn.

A very smart and easy to use lever controls the adjustable cutting heights and you have a range of heights, in six steps, from 25 to 75 millimetres to choose from for total flexibility.

The build of the mower is very tough and hardwearing with a powder-coated steel deck and good-sized wheels with moulded chunky grips to help traction in wet weather. The rear wheels are higher than the front (rear wheels 11”, front wheels 8”) so steering, turning and manoeuvrability is made simpler.

Operator comfort is important when you are out on the lawn for any amount of time and working at the right height is important so the handlebars are adjustable, with two possible positions. The handlebars also fold forward so storage and transport are easier.
