The ultimate tool for large-scale lawn-care applications, this fast-working tractor-towed aerator from American landscaping-giants Billy Goat is equipped with 24 thin-wall tensile-hardened tines giving a huge 122cm working-width.

The tines remove soil-cores down to a maximum depth of 7.5cm, thereby enabling vital nutrients and moisture to better penetrate the root network, which in turn promotes lush, healthy and vigorous grass-growth.

The Billy Goat AET48 Tow-Behind Aerator weighs 109kg, but by fitting the optional water-jugs, that can be increased to 193kg for enhanced soil-penetration.

Offering best-in-class serviceability, the AET48 tilts up for easy access and features pillow-block bearings (with grease zerks); an ‘O’-ring chain; and replaceable tine-stars.

A bar-and-footpad mechanism provides simple tine-engagement; while large pneumatic tyres help to smooth-out the bumps on adverse terrain.

This model is designed for use behind garden-tractors with engines rated at 15hp and above.
